Description: Universal Transmitter Controllers
The MCU range of universal controllers provides a high level of functionality to any 4-20mA or HART signal. These mains or 24V dc powered controllers are available in a sturdy weatherproof wall mounting enclosure or a standard DIN size panel mount format, and provide intrinsically safe power to the transmitter.
The entry level controller with 5 field programmable relays and a re-transmitted 4-20mA signal. The display may be configured to show a variety of transmitter or process value information, and a built-in keypad is used to enter data. The programming menu is easy and user friendly to use and, for popular or complex control functionality, programming is wizard assisted.
Many standard control routines are pre-programmed, as are the most popular open channel flow algorithms.
HART transmitters can be programmed from the control unit as all universal and some common practice HART commands are available.
Accepts two inputs from HART transmitters and will add, subtract or multiply the inputs to create a single answer. Typically used on screen applications or summing two open channel flow measurements into a treatment plant.
As MCU901 but with the addition of an integral logger. 4800 event logging capability and 60 day totaliser. Will log any value programmed to appear on the main display. Unique "fast-log" override to provide more detailed data in the event of abnormal measurements such as storm or overflow situations.
